  • I must say... The picture of the product doesn't do it justice. When I took it out of the box, my jaw dropped. It is a very nice looking watch. Especially for the price. I am constantly getting remarks from people who say, "Nice watch!" This my 2nd watch from them and the 1st is still working and nice looking. If you are looking for a nice looking inexpensive watch I highly recommend it.
  • I bought this as a gift for my oldest son (hes 28) and I love this watch. I may even buy another for myself. It looks great, I read some negative comments, one making mention that its not even real gold, does anyone really expect anything more than just a piece of nice costume jewelry?Of course there's no gold in it, but it certainly is a really nice piece of costume jewelry. It looks really nice and it does tell time. After all that is what its suppose to do, tell time, and it does that with a little style thrown in basically for free. Get one, you won't regret it at all.
  • This really is a great watch! I got a black on black with gold. It's a good size for my wrist and looks clean. There are so many options for watches. High recommend! I've been using this every day and it stays on nice and time and date has stayed accurate since setting the time. I have gotten a lot of compliments and people asking if the watch was over 500$... The only thing that I struggled with was removing some of the watch links. I did not have to go out and get it done professionally, it came with a link remover... but it is a little flimsy and I struggled for a little bit to get the links out. The overall reward was nice.
  • This is a great watch and I'm extremely happy with it. I'm a mechanical engineer and really enjoy being able to see the inner workings of the watch. I also get a lot of satisfaction owning and using a 100% mechanical item during this digital age. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this watch due to some of the negative reviews it has received. My watch, however, has been running perfectly and keeps very good time. It is gains approximately a minute in a week. The only improvement I would have liked would be hands which are a contrasting color to the watch workings as the hands can be a little hard to see at times. My wife really likes my watch
  • The Seiko 5 is the best mechanical watch you can buy in the sub-$500 category.. It's accurate to a few seconds per day, and is self-winding, so if you forget to wind it it's not going to stop on you. This model has a color that approaches that of a hot-blue with white hands that contrast sharply with the background.I have only owned the watch for a short time, so I can't speak to its shock-resistance or water resistance, but I can say the Seiko craftsmanship clearly shows in this watch. The band is flexible yet exudes strength and confidence, and the movement smooth and accurate. I'm not wild about the transparent back of the watch - it looks like a weak point - but other than that I love it.Edit: I have owned this watch for over a week and I haven't had to set the time yet. It still is keeping perfect time. This is the first mechanical watch I have owned that keeps time so well. I am astounded.
  • This really is a great watch! I got a black on black with gold. It's a good size for my wrist and looks clean. There are so many options for watches that I'm really tempted to buy more especially at a low cost of 25. High recommend! I've been using this every day and it stays on nice and time and date has stayed accurate since setting the time. The watch is comfortable and a great fit... I have gotten a lot of compliments and people asking if the watch was over 500$... The only thing that I struggled with was removing some of the watch links.
  • I've worn this cheap watch almost daily for several years. It stays within a few seconds per month. The battery gets changed maybe every 18 months. After several years the band is still tight, and the watch still looks good..I don't intentionally wear this watch into the water, but to date it has not picked up moisture like other brands of cheap watches I have owned.Obviously I try to take my watch of when welding, grinding, jack hammering, swimming, showering, or the like, It's a good looking watch that wears well and the price is amazing.
  • I LOVE this watch! I received it for Father's day and haven't stopped wearing it since. A few of the reviews here had me worried about things like the gold on the bracelet wearing off quickly, some in days. I've worn mine non-stop except when I shower and the bracelet still looks like new.FIt and finish on the case, bezel, and face are impeccable. The automatic workings have proven incredibly accurate and have kept within a second or two over the last week. The only other automatic watch I owned (a Diesel) was very inaccurate and a general PITA to maintain. This has been pure joy! The bracelet is comfortable and easy to remove the links yourself. It gets compliments all the time thanks to it's classic styling. The date window is super easy to read with the magnifying bubble on the lens. My eyes, now that I'm getting older, have a really hard time reading the date window on my other watches but this one is a dream and no problem to read. The sweeping second hand is great fun to watch in action. The rear window allows easy viewing of the inner working and especially the winding pendulum.
  • Love this watch already and have been using it for a week now. The design is different, thin and sleek. Looks great on my hand .The dial design looks really good and different . It’s very unique. One thing I can say for sure is that it’s not a cookie cutter kind of watch.Shows the date on the watch. Now I know it’s very common for digital watches, but not so common for analog watches like these. The band is super comfortable and not irritating on the skin at all, feels breathable .
  • I bought this watch because it appears to be a new model and despite low price, it looks very impressive. So far I do not see any flaw.Instructions are minimum for less experienced user. Customers need to start by having strap adjusted to their wrist size by removing same number of links from both sides. It is advisable to go to a jeweler and pay for removing links to make it fit as they have proper tools to do so. Otherwise you need to use a small hammer on tool provided to push the pins out in the direction of arrow on marked links. It takes considerably more effort. To close the strap push both sides of clasps towards your wrist with steel clasp part getting covered inside by dark strap till both clasps lock in place. To open it, squeeze both steel protrusions inward towards dark strap to pop out clasps to unlock.
  • I just bought this new watch and I love it! One word of advice for anyone who needs to take out links from the band however: As stated by others on here, the tool is in fact, quite flimsy and will break on you with too much stress. The good news is,there's any easy fix, which is why I'm rating this five stars still. Thumbtacks. The standard tack will fit into the rung far enough to push the pins out, though I'd keep the base of the tool just to use to push any pins back in from the other side,as it is easier on you fingers and gives you a better grip and leverage. Other than that, this is an excellent looking watch and it was expertly packaged as the manufacturer has stated! Fits me perfect,so I'm happy.
  • This watch is great. I love watches and this is the 14th of my collection. It feels durable and well made, also packaged nicely. It comes with all the authenticity verification papers and such. After 3 days of constant wear, it is starting to loosen up, however upon opening, many functions are difficult (spinning bezel, opening and closing clasp). I have not water tested it other than wearing it in the snow but being an Invicta, I'm not too worried. THIS WATCH CAN FEEL HEAVY so don't expect to be flinging your arms around with ease. Overall, I'd say it's wonderful.
